Dr. Cuevas is a 2001 graduate of the State University of New York College of Optometry. She completed a residency program in 2002 in Primary Care Optometry with an emphasis in pediatrics, specialty contact lenses and corneal conditions. She is board certified by the American Board of Optometrists. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the College of Optometry where she teaches clinical procedures and supervises interns in the Primary Eye Care Clinic at the University Eye Center in Manhattan. She has extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Cuevas has presented research on LASIK and glaucoma at the American Academy of Optometry. She has volunteered for the vision screening program, “Opening Eyes,” at the New York Special Olympics and a vision screening program for multiple sclerosis at the MS walkathon in New York City. Dr. Cuevas is the owner of Delta Eye Care, where she looks forward to treating all your eye care needs.
